I read the reviews on this book even the negative ones. I have been programming with C# for a while but needed to brush up on interview questions for an interview that I was scheduled for. Even though you program in the language does not mean you use all of the features in the language. I took notes on what I needed to study. I did find the book useful. There was one thing that I believe was missing from this book is the loading of a page. Otherwise, the topics helped me study and look up when I needed a clearer clarification.
Nice book, actually has more information that's needed to clear a c# interview.
This book got me the job as software specialist at a bank. Lot of questions asked were from this book.What was in this interview that isnt covered here is writing some simple code on paper, in C# or simple SQL queries and simple database design.4 stars because design patterns were asked about in the interview but you need to read about them elswhere to understand them and no simple exercises contained.Try Head first Design patterns.
